OPENING UPDATE (9/18/2017 at 12:19 pm)
After fully assessing the property we have been able to determine we can open up to owners this Saturday, September 23rd! We will not be able to open up yet for renters or exchangers, but will update as soon as we are able to fully open the property.
HURRICANE DAMAGE UPDATE (9/13/2017 at 3:50 pm)
At Caribbean Beach Club we have been very busy the past two days! The entire staff has been on site working on debris removal. Since we still do not have electricity, the cleanup has been primarily focused on the outside. We have started to manually clean the pool and hot tub.
We are so very grateful that we have such a hardworking staff. Most do not even have power in their own homes, but they have shown up the past two days and worked all day long to make Caribbean Beach Club operational again.
You can view photos of the cleanup progress we have made on the Facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/caribbeanbeachclubresort
HURRICANE DAMAGE UPDATE (9/12/2017 at 2:39pm)
As we are better able to assess the property damage at Caribbean Beach Club we can confirm that the damage is minor, mostly just trees down throughout the property.
There is currently no electricity or running water and access to the island is limited. We are expecting approximately 7-14 days until we are able to open up for guest arrivals.
We will continue to update as access to the island open ups, electric is restored and we have a confirmed reopening date.
HURRICANE DAMAGE UPDATE (9/11/2017 at 2:57pm)
The hurricane has passed and now we can begin assessing the property. Thankfully, no one was injured. As of right now, we know that the buildings, roofs, and windows seem intact though there are some downed trees. It does not appear that the buildings were flooded or impacted by storm surge.
The power is currently out and we have only had access to the property for a couple of hours. Below are some initial photos which can also be found on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/caribbeanbeachclubresort, and we will continue to post updates on both the Facebook page and the resort website as we receive new information.
Also note the county has useful information on their emergency website www.leeeoc.com.
Presently, Caribbean Beach Club is closed to guests until the power is restored and we are able to fully assess the property.
